Old Sawmill, Dalmally, Argyll, Scotland, PA33 1AE
Dalmally Golf Club is without a doubt one of Scotland’s little golfing treasures, and in 2012 is proud to celebrate its silver jubilee year.
A beautiful 9 hole course, it is bounded by the lazily flowing River Orchy and surrounded by the majestic mountains of Argyll.
The flat parkland set up is suitable for all standards of golfer. The river comes into play at all nine holes, and together with strategically placed bunkers and naturally intruding trees, the challenge is there for those who need it.
The feature par 3 third hole ‘Orchy Splash’ characterises Dalmally Golf Course.
A memorable carry over water from tee to green, the hole is becoming one of the most talked about challenges around.
With its mix of new and mature trees, ponds and streams, the course provides an important natural habitat for many local wildlife species, some of which can be spotted during play.
Come and join is in celebrating an enduring highland golfing treat.

SILVER JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS ANNOUNCED
Dalmally Golf Club will mark a quarter century of golf on the site with two special events.
A special Silver Jubilee Mixed Fourball tournament will take place later in the season, with nostalgia sure to be a major feature. Past captains and club champions are set to be invited back to join current members in a day of friendly competition and reminiscing.
Then on 27th October, the new Dalmally Community Hall will host an Anniversary Dinner which will see past and present members mingle and share memories while enjoying a celebration meal.
The club are on the lookout for photographs charting the history of golf in Dalmally, which of course dates back further than the 'new' site at Stronmilchan with a previous course in the area in existence from 1904 to the outbreak of World War II.
Anyone with anything to offer is asked to make contact via the club's website, through the 'Contact us' link. Photos will form a montage of memories to be displayed at the Dinner.
